Medicine: To offer new alternatives to people in medicine you must step outside the mold of the traditional MD. You must study beyond conventional pharmaceutical drugs and surgery and venture into the ancient arts (of Chinese and Indian medicine), and the modern arts (of homeopathy, applied kinesiology, and vibrational medicine). Dr. Baker’s formal training in medicine began at New York Chiropractic College. Simultaneously, he began study of the science of Applied Kinesiology. This was followed by intensive training in Indian (Ayurvedic) medicine and acupuncture. More academic work followed -- completion of the 4-year program of study at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine where he received his second doctoral degree – as a Naturopathic Medical Doctor.
His study of the human condition and what creates its joys and sorrows continues in the House of Natural Medicine.
And previously: Dr. Baker graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Electrical Engineering. This was followed by masters level studies in Nuclear Engineering at the Westinghouse Bettis Nuclear Engineering School, 5 years of nuclear submarine design work, and 12 years of commercial nuclear power plant design management.
